The students will be celebrating different cultures throughout the week starting Monday, February 22, through Friday, February 26, 2024. Students are encouraged to wear the types of clothing for each culture and/or bring a cooked dish to also represent that culture. The cultures we will be celebrating are as follows:
MONDAY: Asian Persuasion - (China, Japan, Russia, Etc.)
TUESDAY: In-Dia-N & You - (India)
WEDNESDAY: African Celebration - (Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, Etc.)
THURSDAY: Bienvenido a Mexico - (Mexico, Spain, Etc.)
FRIDAY: Welcome Back Home - (United States of America)
Although there are many cultures in the world, these were selected for this year.
Diversity tolerance and understanding of other cultures is what we hope to achieve this week.
There will be a special chapel on Wednesday at 9:00am as we present praises throughout the world.
